Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony and Brunch!

On June 15, we celebrated the graduation of our Grade 6 students! It was a momentous occasion filled with pride and joy. The students have worked so hard throughout the year, and it was wonderful to see them recognized for their efforts.

 

A group of students expressed their appreciation for retiring Head of Elementary School Kathy Funamoto by sharing kind words about her, reflecting on her many acts of kindness over the years. They gifted her a Grade 6 diploma for her final and 44th year in Elementary School.

 

It was a bittersweet moment as we said goodbye to some of our Grade 6 students, but we know they will do amazing things in the future as well as welcome the other students into our Middle School. The celebration ended with brunch in the Guzzo Yard for students, parents and staff to mingle and honour our Grade 6 students. Congratulations to all of our graduates!
