Impressive public speaking by Grade 5 and 6 students

On June 13, the Grade 5 and 6 students participated in the annual public speaking assembly. Representatives were selected from each class to share their personal narrative (Grade 5) or persuasive speech (Grade 6) with their classmates, teachers and family members. We were all entertained by the Grade 5 personal narrative stories from Zach Beckerleg, Tyler Benchetrit- Morrison, Alex Maietta and Andrew Li. We were then persuaded by Jack Pinnow, Harry Garschagen, Oliver Sierra Veilleux, Justin Behr, Ryan Pitfield, Andrew Zhuang, Leo Vainberg, and Matej Blasch on topics that included: Why Social Media is Bad for You, Why Video Games are Useful, and Why All Children Should Play Outside, to name a few. We are very proud of all the students who participated in this event!
