24th Annual Young Old Boys BBQ

We were delighted to welcome back 56 guests to the 24th Annual Young Old Boys BBQ on August 24 including younger Old Boys, former and current staff members, a Selwyn dad and Max, the dog. Discussions of summer vacations and upcoming school plans flowed as the Old Boys from the classes of 2017-2023 reunited with their former classmates and teachers. It was interesting to hear about new experiences and future school plans: David, back from Hotel Institute Montreux in Switzerland, is now studying the fine art of butchering; Jacob parachuted with the cadets, and Vito is off to NYU in film. Coristine Hall was brimming with familiar sounds of laughter and applause as several surprise guests dropped in to enjoy hamburgers and refreshments. Many took part in tours of the new Grade 12 facilities, enthused to see first-hand this new piece of Selwyn history.
