International literacy day 2023!

On September 8, International Literacy Day, Selwyn House School celebrates the power of words, the joy of reading, and the incredible impact literacy has on individuals and communities worldwide. To commemorate this day, Kathy Funamoto, our former Head of Elementary School, came back to the school to read to students at the "Kathy Funamoto & Friends" outdoor reading corner created upon her retirement. Throughout her career, Ms. Funamoto made it a priority to instill a love of reading in our youngest students and read to them regularly. We are grateful for Mrs. Funamoto's unwavering dedication in sharing her love of reading with our Selwyn boys!
