Elementary Gryphon boys celebrate another strong year
The Selwyn House Athletics Department took a moment on Wednesday, June 5th to highlight the efforts, achievements and engagement of the Elementary School boys who took part in various sports options throughout the 2018-19 school year.
The annual Elementary School Athletics Breakfast saw boys in grades 4, 5 and 6 honoured in cross-country running, soccer, basketball, hockey, flag football and track and field. The boys heard stories from their coaches, notably Jean Pruneau, who delivered a key message on how Selwyn is beginning to “pass the torch” from one generation of coaches to the next.
In the end, everyone had a great time as the boys celebrated the year with their friends, families and coaches. The coaches look forward to seeing these boys back in action come September.
