Juvenile soccer team is off to great start

The Juvenile soccer team’s season is off to a blistering start after it scored two goals early in its first game last week against F.A.C.E High School. Unfortunately, a few unlucky plays and bounces allowed F.A.C.E. to tie the game before the half. Even though the early lead slipped away, the team remained focused and got right back to business in the second half of the game. Both teams traded goals and the Gryphons scored the go-ahead goal with about 20 minutes left in the game. Even though Selwyn House had to play a man down for the final 10 minutes, they competed hard and looked good as they held on for the first win of the season.

Final score: 4 to 3 for Selwyn House.
