Terry Fox Run inspires Selwyn House students

Students in Elementary, Middle, and Senior Schools participated in the annual Terry Fox Run which took place on October 8. So far, the school has raised over $10,000 for the foundation in this year's campaign.

“Terry Fox represents the concept of Veritas through his commitment to others and the world around him even while working through his own recovery from and battle with cancer,’’ says Jennifer Torry, Student Life and Leadership Coordinator in the Experiential Education Department at Selwyn House. ‘‘This run allows us to honour that commitment and connect with our own stories of lives impacted by cancer, such as those shared by Cliff Zhang, a Grade 11 student, and Mr. Watson, during the Senior School assembly.”
