Grade 7 students answer the ‘‘Call of the Wild’’

The Grade 7 students recently completed the Call of the Wild program, which teaches the foundations of wilderness camping.

In the backcountry setting of the Laurentians region north of Montreal, the boys spent two days and one night building tarp shelters, maintaining fires, hiking, and cooking.

Through the Selwyn House Outdoor Educational lens of R.O.C.K. (resiliency, optimism, curiosity and kindness), the trip allowed the boys to connect with nature and with each other.
