Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Visits Selwyn House

Super Bowl champion Laurent Duvernay-Tardif paid a visit to Selwyn House on May 4, 2022. The football star spoke to students in Grades 5 and 6, as well as students in Middle and Senior Schools.

As an ambassador of Sodexo Canada’s Powering Performance program, Dr. Duvernay-Tardif  touched on a variety of topics, including the impact of nutrition on his performance as an athlete, how he strikes a balance between his athletic and medical careers, and why he decided to put his football career on hold during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Duvernay-Tardif allowed a significant amount of time for the boys to ask questions about a number of subjects, and the boys were more than happy to participate.
