Grade 6 adventure to Îles de Boucherville

On Wednesday, September 7, Grade 6 began an adventure to Îles de Boucherville. We spent two days and one-night learning valuable skills to survive in nature if we required it. We learned about fire-starting skills, cooking our own food, widdling wood, archery, and a return to the nomadic lifestyle. During this trip, we also learned how to cooperate with our classmates in better ways, and respect our differences. We have worked as a team and overcame challenges. This experience has given us valuable memories and this is one of the reasons that makes us a part of the Selwyn House family. An excellent way to start the school year!
