Meet-and-Greet with Contactivity

Selwyn House School has partnered for the past four years with Contactivity Centre, a non-profit community centre for active seniors. Our students connect and experience different workshops with the seniors throughout the year. At the Meet and Greet on October 3, Grade 9-11 students and Contactivity members gathered in person over coffee, tea and snacks and got excited for the year to come. 

Three upcoming programs include: seniors reading to elementary students; the Friendly Visiting Program where students pair-up with seniors to connect and share the basics of technology; and, Term II Photography Class with Ms. Ignjatovic's Grade 9 students.

This is a wonderful partnership that creates a space for different age groups to socialize and learn from each other.
