Staff attend Experiential Education Conference

Two of our Experiential Education department members, Courtney Prieur and Jennifer Torry, attended the Independent Schools Experiential Education Network (ISEEN) Winter Institute from January 17-20. The conference was hosted by Cary Academy in Cary, North Carolina, which allowed participants to learn more about the school's Centre for Community Engagement and their diversity, equity, and inclusion work. The institute featured keynote speakers, such as Dr. Bettina Love, a model programs showcase, and various workshops focused on facilitation, program development, and professional affinity groups. The team is excited to bring back skills, ideas, and resources from the institute to further develop our experiential programming at Selwyn House!
