Annual Grade 10 Retreat - building a foundation

Selwyn House School's Grade 10 students recently took part in a retreat at Parkside Ranch in Orford, Quebec. After a hike around Mount Saint-Bruno, they leaned in to leadership and introspective activities provided by the Selwyn staff. The retreat offered valuable opportunities for the students to connect and develop bonds as a grade, fostering essential skills such as teamwork, resilience, and effective communication. One student remarked, "It was nice to spend some time thinking about myself and my own journey, and I want to do that more." Selwyn House School's faculty emphasized the importance of reflection and teamwork for a successful Grade 11 year. As the students return to Selwyn House School for their penultimate year, they do so with a newfound sense of camaraderie and a strong foundation of skills to support their continued academic and personal growth.
