Junior debaters win at Lysgar
Over the April 16 weekend, Selwyn House Debaters made an excellent showing at the Lysgar Collegiate Institute Debating Tournament.
The team of Joshua Cohen and Gabriel Di Bert went all the way to the Junior finals and won the Junior division of the tournament. The team composed of Jarren Fefer and Felix St-Onge Tavchandjian broke to semi-finals before being eliminated on a split decision.
Despite there being no trophy for the Junior winners, the stuffies they provided were more than adequate and can be seen on display in the Macaulay building.
