Old Boys win first championship in 65 years

Selwyn House Old Boys are making their mark in hockey at Trinity College School. Jonah Goodman 2014 and Jordan Dubuc 2014 helped the TCS Bears beat St. Andrews College by a score of 5-1 on March 15 to win the CISAA ice hockey championship for the first time since 1949.

“After dramatic quarterfinal and semi-final come-from-behind victories powered by hat tricks in each game from team leading scorer Jonah Goodman, the Bears were in control from start to finish in a dominating final game performance,” reported HighlightHub.com. Scoring for the Bears in the final game were Wes Snoek (2), Jonah Goodman, Cooper Kauffman and team captain and enforcer Jordan Dubuc.

Jordan is reportedly moving on to Western for football, while Jonah is playing in the Ontario Junior C league.

Jonah has had a remarkable year, leading the team with 53 goals and 48 assists in 28 games. He was signed by the Port Hope Panthers Junior C team on March 1, where he has played in two playoff games and scored in both. The Panthers won their division, and now move onto the Ontario Regionals.
