Middle School Students Visit World Press Photo Exhibition

On September 26, a few Middle School students along with Ms. Corbie, Ms. Schwartz and Mme. Robillard went to the annual Expo World Press Photo Exhibit at the Bonsecours Market in the Old Port. This fascinating collection of work displayed 130 photographs, from 42 award winning photographers, spanning 30 countries. It has been touted, "the most esteemed photojournalism event" by the New York Times. Many of the topics explored were heavy but the students appreciated the messages that the photos shared about conflicts happening across the globe. The exhibit runs until Oct. 13, if you have a chance please go and check it out.
