Speed and Senses Tested in Pre-University Psychology

The Pre-U Psychology students came together in Macaulay Gym to participate in a reaction time experiment using some of Selwyn’s football equipment. Students have been learning about the biological approach to psychology and the functioning of the nervous system, and the lab gave them the opportunity to test their reaction time relative to different sensory stimuli. Almost half the cohort participated and some even put their nervous systems to the test with some minor sensory deprivation and higher speeds. - Mr. Maurovich, Pre-U Social Studies Teacher
