Selwyn Golfers Launch Season with Competition and Growth

During the last week of September, Selwyn’s Golf Teams have been back in action across both the Senior and Middle School programs. The Senior School team had a busy start to the season, capturing second place at the Bialik Open, followed by a third-place showing at the GMAA championships, narrowly missing first place by just six strokes. The photo of the group was taken at the Captains Cup, a hotly contested internal match won by Ethan Park ’26 and his team.

 

Similarly, the Middle School instructional golf class took their skills to Patton's Glen Golf Club for a fun 18-hole best ball event. After practicing their long and short games at Meadowbrook driving range for close to a month, the young Gryphons were ready for the next step on their golf journey. The weather was great, the fairways were wide, and the boys had a great time enjoying a fall afternoon on the links. - Mr. Marty Boyle, Head Coach
