AP Calculus Class Tackles University-Level Math at McGill

On April 3 some of our students from the AP Calculus class headed to McGill University where they sat in on a 300 person Calculus II lecture in the Stewart Biology Building.  The lecture, which explored the mathematical tests required to prove convergence or divergence of infinite series, was given by the esteemed Professor Sidney Trudeau of the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics.  The students appreciated the opportunity to experience university life and were proud that they were able to follow a college level course.  Hopefully this is just the beginning of the post-secondary mathematical pursuits of this stellar group.  Well done, Mathematicians! -Ms. Sayegh, Senior School Mathematics Department Head
