Selwyn House chef featured in new book
Selwyn House Executive Chef and General Manager Silvana Parnas is featured in a new book celebrating chefs from across Canada. Entitled Imagine, the book contains profiles of chefs who work for the Sodexo Corporation.
“It was pretty exciting to see myself in a book,” says Ms Parnas.
Under her direction, the Selwyn/Sodexo kitchen staff has gone to incredible lengths over the past year to cope with feeding the school under COVID restrictions.
“It has definitely been a tough year, very stressful, long hours and not much sleep,” says Ms Parnas. “We did the best we could under the circumstances.
“I’m very proud of my team for meeting the demands and making sure that no child was left unfed.”
