Congratulations to the Scholastic Challenge winners!

This Spring, Selwyn House Elementary and Middle School students participated in the Scholastic Challenge. Grade 6 teacher Mr. Kelley had this to say about the competition: "In Elementary School, both Grade 6 classes participated in the general knowledge-based competition. The boys were asked a wide range of questions across multiple disciplines. They competed as a school team and individually. Both classes did exceptionally well, receiving many certificates of merit. Selwyn House School had its top 4 scorers (Matej Blasch, Jack Pinnow, Lucas Zhao, and Liam Scully) receive bronze medals nationally and earned the title of the top-scoring school team in Quebec. Matej Blasch also ranked third individually across Canada. We are proud of all the boys who participated."

 

In Middle School, our Grade 8 students joined schools across Canada competing in the online quiz testing general knowledge. We are proud to announce that 37 of our Grade 8 students achieved results above the national average and received certificates for that honour. A special shout-out to Max Arbour, who received the top score for Grade 8 competitors in the province of Quebec!
