Obituary - Dwight Bartholomew '47
Dear Classes of 1946, 1947, 1948 and Former Staff,
We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Dwight Bartholomew, Class of '47 on February 8, 2023 at his home in Port Angeles, WA. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, his brother Andrew (Andy) '52, his four children, two step children and two grandchildren.
Dwight attended Selwyn House School from 1943 to 1946. He was an active participant in many activities including hockey, relay, cricket debating, he was a member of the oratorical society and received top honours for boxing.
Please see his obituary. A service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 15th at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Angeles. It will be followed by a burial later in spring at the Griswold family cemetery in Old Lyme.
