Toronto Chapter Reunion - November 2023
Twenty Old Boys from the Toronto area joined SHS staff at Jump Restaurant on November 9, 2023 for the annual Chapter Reunion (a fall gathering vs the traditional spring event). Old Boys from over four decades attended, including all four Toronto-based OBA Board members. Kyam Shell-Schnitzer '01 arrived in style wearing his vintage football jacket. A great choice, as everyone followed the livestream Cadet Football Championship game (The Gryphons were victorious). Speirs medalist and former Board Chair Craig Shannon '71 shared some of the school's history with the younger crowd and Craig was recruited for some local hockey action. Arne Peterson '04 volunteered to seek out future venues for the Toronto Chapter. The evening went on into the night except for the few who headed out early to play hockey for SHS in a local league, including goalie Brendan Keefe '11. It was great to see the Selwyn spirit in Ontario!
