Senior School Students Travel to Ottawa for Operation Remembrance

Each year, Operation Remembrance offers a youth conference on Remembrance Day, students and cadets from around the country attend and listen to presentations given by other students in Ottawa. At this year's conference, we were asked to make a presentation centred on the Holocaust. The boys who attended, Zac E., Luke B., and Zach K. made a short introduction, and then we showed an edited version of the video, originally 13-minutes long.

 

The conference is organised by Dr. Paul Kavanagh, a veteran from Montreal who has made it his mission to serve veterans around the country, and to encourage young people to engage more fully with Remembrance Day. - Mr. Watson, Senior School Social Studies teacher
