LASER Race in Grade 11 Physics

As the final days of class rolled down, the Grade 11 physics classes participated in the annual "Secret Agent LASER (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) Race". With red versus green, the two teams battled it out to be the first to reach their assigned targets. Using their knowledge of reflection, properties of light and team work: the students must work together to move their LASER beam around the class before the other team. Not an easy task but certainly an entertaining one! Can't wait till next year. - Mr. Tom Downey, Senior School Physics teacher
