Day 3 of Intensives

Students intensified their learning curve on Day 3 as they creatively utilized their environment in their respective subject areas: Masterchefs toured our Selwyn House kitchen and baked their own loaves of bread; Writers attended a workshop led by our own published poet, Selwyn House librarian Ms. Hoyte; Comedians researched the delicate art of observational humour in several locations within our school community; Broadcasters reached out to Selwyn House faculty to interview faculty members on a broad range of newsworthy stories; participants in Ms. Clement's A Day in the Life Of...gained perspective of Selwyn house classrooms and corridors while confined to a wheelchair. It is clear to see that Middle School students are connecting to their school in terrific new ways thanks to the creative and diverse activities Selwyn House teachers have offered this week!
