U-13 soccer team had a great start and excellent finish!
It has been a very busy start! The boys are in a great mood and seem to have an endless supply of energy.
Yesterday we went Whale watching in the morning and we were told it was the best whale watching day of the season!! Today was first day of tournament. We had an incredible start. We won all three of our games 5-0, 6-1, and 4-0 to finish in first place in pool C. The boys all worked really well, they displayed some of the best passing we have ever seen at a U13 tournament. Tomorrow we will play some more top teams in the Gold Division playoffs.
The final day was a good one. We won our match against West Point Grey and watched a great final between Colinwood and Glenlyon. Our host school won the tournament. After, Mr. and Mrs.Rossy treated us, and all the boys to a famous experience, afternoon tea at The Fairmount Empress Hotel in the tea room, the same that Queen Elizabeth used during her trip!
