Grade 5 to Domaine Saint Bernard
On October 26 and 27 both grade 5 classes went to Domaine Saint Bernard just in time for the autumn colours. The boys learned how to steer a 2-person canoe on a lake while practicing their teamwork skills. They explored the forest in the day and at night on their group hikes. They baked cookies and made salads to be served at meal times and snacks. They also explored the sky as they performed constellation skits and learned about the lifespan of stars. Highlights of the trip were a few deer sightings, a large forest maze, and some amazing all-group football games.
