World Scholar's Cup ~ Montreal Regional Round 2019
The World Scholar's Cup is a unique and exciting two-day event, challenging students in teams of three to master debating, a detailed curriculum, and essay writing. On January 18th and 19th, six teams of elementary students from Selwyn House competed to earn enough points to move on to the Global Round in the Junior Division (under-14). Amazingly, five of the teams have the chance to move on, and the team made up of Sophie Birks (from ECS, sister of William in 6A), Henri Stack-Lévesque, and Theo Simons came first overall in the Junior Division.
