Brothers brave cold in ski marathon

At the 54th annual Canadian Ski Marathon Feb. 8-9, with over 1,400 participants,
Alexis Delplace (Gr. 11) of only 4 Jr attempting Coureur de Bois Gold category, completed 80-km on day 1, sleeping out in –28C and skiing day 2 with temperatures dipping to –37C to complete 100 of 160 km.
 
Oliver Delplace (Gr. 9) of 7 Jr attempting Coureur de Bois Silver, carried his minimum 5-kg pack over the full distance in admirable time, braving the extreme cold to earn his Silver Medal.
