Elementary Veritas Players premiere movie edition

This year, the Selwyn House Elementary Veritas Players presented "The Thirty-Three Little Pigs" as a play in the park. The production process began in January with auditions for actors from Grades 4 to 6. As a COVID precaution, scenes from the play were cast so that each class bubble could rehearse and perform separately from the others. The role of the wolf was shared by six actors. After three months of lunch-hour rehearsals and costume fittings, the scenes were filmed in Westmount Park. Filming was done with one group at a time over a two-week period. On May 14, the play was also presented live to the Elementary students outdoors in the Guzzo Family Playground. The actors presented three shows over the course of one day, with one performance for each cycle.
