McGill's Professor Yachnin visits Grade 10 English Class

On Tuesday, February 13, Professor Paul Yachnin came to our Grade 10 English class to talk about The Merchant of Venice and how to use the text as a constitution. He also shared his own journey in academics. Professor Yachnin is the Tomlinson Professor of Shakespeare Studies at McGill University. He is a world-renowned scholar in Shakespeare, and one of the originators of the Shakespeare Moot Court. Selwyn House School is grateful that he took the time to speak with us. - Mr. Bracewell, Senior School English teacher
