Selwyn House School Staff Members at ISEEN Winter Institute

As proud members of the Independent Schools Experiential Education Network (ISEEN), several Selwyn House School staff members attended the Winter Institute in California from January 23-26. Ms. Schwartz, Community Engagement Coordinator, shared, "At the 19th Annual ISEEN Winter Institute, we focused on the theme Rooted in Experiential Education: Finding Our Places to Flourish. We connected with peers in Experiential Education and learned about other schools' successes and challenges."

Ms. Torry, Student Life and Leadership Coordinator, echoed these sentiments when asked about her time at the conference, saying, "The ISEEN Winter Institute gave us the opportunity to dive deep into both experiential activities and area-specific conversations. This annual conference provided us with new ideas and connections so we can continue evolving our student programming and experiential opportunities!"

This enriching PD opportunity was made possible through donations to Selwyn's "True to our Roots" Annual Giving Campaign. Thank you to our donors for your contributions! Please visit the campaign page in the bio to continue to support teacher professional development and other school priorities!
