Melo Omat Teaches Elementary School Students About Afro-Dance

As Black History Month came to an end, on February 28, Selwyn House School warmly welcomed renowned dancer and choreographer, Melo Omat. Our Elementary School students assembled in Coristine Hall for a presentation by Melo, the founder of Uplift514 Studios, an Afro-urban dance studio in Montreal. Melo shared the joy of Afro-dance with us and the significance of the moves. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Melo for the enriching experience. We had a fantastic time learning new dance moves together! - Ms. Walsh, Elementary School English and Mathematics teacher.
