Grade 5 Bakes with Fractions

On April 19, Grade 5B taught by Ms. Paracholski, Grade 5 Homeroom teacher, embarked on an engaging STEM activity: baking muffins! This hands-on lesson aimed to integrate math skills with culinary creativity, focusing specifically on the concept of fractions. Under the expert guidance of Ms. Parnas, Executive Chef, the students brought their culinary creations to life in the kitchen of Coristine Hall. Who knew math could be so delicious?!
